L. Jegatha Deborah has 15 years of experience in teaching and 05 years of experience in research. Her core research areas of interest includes artificial intelligence, cognitive linguistics, key management in network security, machine learning. She received her B.E. degree in computer science and engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India, in 2002, the M.E. degree in computer science and engineering from the Karunya Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2013. She is a life member of ISTE professional body. She is serving as a doctoral committee member for various universities like VIT university, Sathyabama university. She is currently guiding four numbers of Doctoral of Philosophy scholars in various domains line online learning, intelligent transportation systems, key management for Industrial IoT applications, machine leanring for autisic children. She has given many guest lectures in International conferences, seminars, workshops, etc in various domains like data mining, neural networks, artificial intelligence, intelligent tutoring systems, etc. She has written many research papers which are published in many reputed journals like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor and Francis, Inderscience, etc. One of her research paper based on Intelligent Transportation System was awarded "The Best Paper" during the presentation in an International Conference, Springer publishers. She is very interested in cognitive linguistics and have developed for model for Learning Management Systems. She has also been a guest editor for special issues published by Elsevier, Inderscience, etc. Towards societal initiative, she is an active member of Youth Red Cross and also the program officer in the working institute.
