Collaborative design using digital tools is a 'hot topic' now regularly discussed at CAD conferences. This book is the first guide/resource book for practitioners and CAD educators to address the topic. It focuses on the collaborative digital design studio in both academia and professional practice. The book is divided into two sections - chapters one to three outline the conceptual/theory approach to collaborative design and chapters four to six focus on putting the principals into practice. The second section will be backed up by a constantly updated web site. A how-to guide in the appendix lists specific technologies and their uses.
