This Second International Symposium offers a timely opportunity to examine and review the progress that has been achieved over the past ten years by workers in the field. It will be of particular relevance to designers, installers and users. The programme of this three-day event will include two invited lectures and 65 technical papers presented in in oral and poster sessions with a significant time left to discussion after each oral session. All types of fans are considered except high speed fans in aeronautic propulsion applications. It will emphasize the following subjects: Noise and unsteady flow measurement and analysis systems.
